Whistleblower report

November 6, 2015

“Prescription Over-ruled”, the report released yesterday by the Ontario Federation of Labour and Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups highlighting doctors’ claims that the Board is ignoring their medical advice, has drawn swift response:

“The Ontario Federation of Labour releases damning report on the state of WSIB claims process” (Van Meer Free Press, Nov. 5)

Update: In its November 17  press release, the FAIR Association of Victims for Accident Insurance Reform, calling for an investigation by the Auditor General and Ontario Ombudsman,  finds   that Ontario’s auto insurance companies have been delaying and denying their customer’s claims by way of poor quality or biased medical opinion reports –  in much the same way as [“Prescription Over-ruled” reports] is happening at the WSIB.

  • “Ontario psychologist ‘alarmed by what’s happening to WSIB claimants’ “ (CBC News Toronto, Nov. 5)
