Outreach sessions for injured workers

March 28, 2019

Knowing your rights and how to self-advocate, sharing experiences with fellow injured workers, getting expert legal advice … Two outreach events have been organized for April by the Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups (ONIWG) in the Guelph and St Catharines regions that educate injured workers on their compensation and health & safety rights, provide an opportunity for peer support and to learn about the ongoing Workers’ Comp Is A Right campaign for fairness. And for those who need it, time to get one-on-one expert legal advice on their case from legal clinic caseworkers and worker representatives.

For more info on these events:
St Catharines outreach (April 10), hosted by Niagara Injured Worker Group, with guest speaker Peri Ballantyne, see Facebook event https://www.facebook.com/events/2336789603223295/flyer for Facebook event - ONIWG outreach event
Guelph outreach (April 11), co-hosted by the Injured Workers of Wellington and Dufferin Counties, see Facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/2288839441444959/
