Injured worker’s rights are under attack. Austerity measures, cuts to benefits, and rebates for billionare businesses have forced injured workers deeper into poverty.
This year alone, the government is trying to force changes to the law through Bill 105, even though injured workers, unions, and injured worker advocates have all made it clear it will hurt workers! Even with a massive surplus, WSIB insists on closing offices across northern Ontario and cuttings hundreds of jobs, increasing delays in benefits for injured workers.
Injured workers will not stay quiet while they are forced into poverty. Why should injured workers get a lump of coal while employers, government officials and WSIB heads get a happy holiday season?!

Toronto: December 7th, 2026 – 11am in front of the Ministry of Labour building at 400 University Ave.
The event will feature speeches from different organizations and labour unions in solidarity with injured workers. It will be followed by pizza and hot chocolate at the Workers’ Health and Safety Legal Clinic.
