Last chance to register! Bancroft Institute on RTW

February 7, 2017

This Thursday evening and Friday (see full agenda) the Bancroft Institute for Studies on Workers’ Compensation and Work Injury tackles the challenge of Measuring Return to Work. How does the WSIB measure it? How is it measured in other jurisdictions? Can we study return to work more accurately? Hear from the WSIB, from leading researchers and from injured worker activists.

The session will also examine the tension between the “Better at Work” principle and the “Time to Heal” principle. What is the best approach to assisting injured workers return to work? A panel of experts will discuss the WSIB’s approach, the research, the practice and the injured workers’ experience.

Workshops will explore how we study return to work, how we can support return to work and the role of health care providers in return to work.

The full agenda is now available. See flyer for details on location and registration fee. For more information or to confirm that you’re coming  email BancroftInstitute@gmail.com
