Building a stronger voice
Is the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB / workers’ compensation system) causing you stress? Will the WSIB adequately and reliably support you if you are or get injured? We need to make the workers’ compensation system work better for all workers!
The Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups (ONIWG) is the provincial voice for workers who have been injured, killed, or made ill on the job. It is a volunteer organization made up of injured workers and their allies, taking united action to try and improve Ontario’s workers’ compensation system.
ONIWG is launching a province-wide inquiry into the reforms needed to the workers compensation system in Ontario. The WISB has billions in the bank – how should they spend it?
ONIWG will be visiting local communities across Ontario in 2024 and 2025. Come add your voice!
