Antonio, Rose, Frances, Sylvia

“I feel morally destroyed” (Antonio), “It’s very very difficult” (Rose), “I’m still nervous” (Frances), “That’s all I have to give … I am alive” (Sylvia). Four injured workers speak  on the stark reality of their daily life following workplace injury and illness.  The debilitating physical and long-lasting mental health and emotional effects, as well as the financial burden, are ones suffered by thousands of Ontario’s injured workers.

Occupational Disability Response Team video of four injured workers speaking on the impact on their lives. Runs 7.54 minutes

(The video “The Disability Dilemma” was produced by Rob Halpin for the ODRT/OFL, 2014, with the assistance of Bright Lights Injured Workers’ Group, Orlando Buonastella (IWC), Harry Goslin (OCEU), David Fernandes. It was shown most recently at the Ontario Federation of Labour Convention, Oct. 2015, Toronto)
