Research study on family impacts of work injury/illness seeks participants

The Thunder Bay Injured Workers is partnering with Lakehead University to document the experiences of family members of injured workers following work-related injury or illness.
The study is looking for family members of injured workers who are (or have been) off work for 3 or more months.

You are invited to participate:

  • Attend a 2-hour focus group (in person or online)
  • Participants will receive a $50 gift card to major grocery stores
  • All information collected is confidential

Upcoming focus group dates:

    • February 4, 2026, 6 pm – 8 pm (zoom)
    • February 17, 2026, 7 pm – 9 pm (zoom)
    • February 21, 2026, 12 pm – 3 pm (in person, lunch provided)
