The cuts to legal aid and legal clinics target Ontario’s most vulnerable: workers injured on the job, people with disabilities, tenants facing eviction, women fleeing violence, refugees, immigrants, people on social assistance, people struggling with mental health, temporary and precarious workers, parents with custody issues … and more.
This coming Tuesday (July 30) tell Doug Ford and Attorney General Doug Downey that access to justice is a fundamental right for ALL Ontarians.
Find a list of events in a community near you on the Association of Community Legal Clinics website https://aclco.org/day-of-action/ or on the events page on stoplegalaidcuts.ca (no need to RSVP, just turn up and show your support!)
