After attending the annual Hamilton ceremony to remember those who died from workplace injuries or illnesses, Monique Taylor (NDP – Hamilton Mountain) made a statement in the Assembly today on the need for workers to be properly protected and, if injured on the job, “not assigned to a life of poverty”.
The MPP called on the government to kill the WSIB draft policies that would systematically blame workers’ injuries on pre-existing conditions [].
