Karl Crevar to receive Diamond Jubilee medal

Kar CrevarKarl Crevar, long-time injured worker activist and community volunteer,is to receive the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee award Feb. 1st from Hamilton MP, David Christopherson. A founding member of the Hamilton and District Injured Workers Group and the Ontario Network of Injured Workers Group (ONIWG), Karl was ONIWG’s President for its first 15 years and continues to play an important role in the movement.

When: Saturday, Feb.1st from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (1:30 p.m. presentation)
Where: Landmark Place, Hamilton Community Legal Clinic, 100 Main Street East, 2nd Floor (South side of Main E. at Catharine), Hamilton, Ontario
