May 31 update – After delivering injured workers’ message in Oshawa to the mayor, riders Peter Page, Richard Hudon, Allen Jones and Nicole Simpson, with support driver Karl Crevar, hit the road again on the last stage of their 660 km Ottawa to Toronto marathon. Reaching Toronto City Hall Wednesday afternoon, they brought their their message calling for fair compensation and “rights for all”, before joining the Women of Inspiration’s vigil at Queen’s Park.

Upon news of the passing of Rolly Marentette, friend to so many in the injured worker community and deeply respected labour activist, the riders have dedicated the 2017 Injured Workers Justice Bike Ride to his memory.
