Thunder Bay & District Injured Workers Support Group invites you to our weekly morning Zoom meetings (held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:noon on Tuesdays until Dec. 16, 2025). Everyone is welcome!
Each session features a Guest Speaker, and is focused on particular issues of interest to Injured Workers. This is followed by how we can take action on the topics of discussion.
Sep. 23: Special guest: Lois Cromarty, Executive Director of the Northumberland Community Legal Centre, who has been in the forefront in the fight against age discrimination in workers’ compensation law. Lois will also comment on the trends she sees at the WSIB and WSIAT (Appeals Tribunal).
Lois Cromarty is the 2021 recipient of Legal Aid Ontario’s Sidney B. Linden Award for her work helping low‑income Ontarians in the pursuit of access to justice.
The meeting will be hosted by Injured Workers Community Legal Clinic (IWC).
