Join Thunder Bay & District Injured Workers’ Support Group’s Tuesday weekly Zoom session from 10 a.m. to noon. Everyone welcome. Each session will wrap up with a focus on how we can take action on the topics of discussion.
Guest speaker for this last session of 2024 is Siobhán Vipond, Executive Vice-President of the Canadian Labour Congress.
She will share information about the Workers Together Campaign which focusses on:
-the fight for more good unions jobs to be created and the many protections these jobs afford;
-affordability measures and other priorities politicians must address;
-increasing the gains and improvements for workers such as universal health care, dental care, and pharmacare;
-the power of workers uniting to negotiate better deals in every sector and part of our lives.
