Join Thunder Bay & District Injured Workers’ Support Group’s Tuesday weekly Zoom session from 10 a.m. to noon. Everyone welcome. Each session will wrap up with a focus on how we can take action on the topics of discussion.
Mary Lloyd, President of the Pictou County Injured Workers’ Association, will be our guest and will discuss the recent review of the workers compensation system in Nova Scotia.
She plans on identifying the main recommendations of the Committee and addressing her concerns about the Review Committee being overly influenced by Workers’ Compensation Board staff and Board of Director members. Mary has been active for 30+ years and Pictou County Injured Workers’ Association is one of the most active groups in Canada. (Read her 2017 submission to the NS House of Assembly)
