Join injured and ill workers and allies from organized labour and the community at large as we gather on this annual Injured Workers Day to celebrate injured worker strength and resilience.

- Queen’s Park, Toronto – June 1, 11:00 a.m.
- London, Victoria Park (NW corner) – June 1, 11:00 a.m.
- Windsor, Tecumseh & Ouellette (flag pole) – June 1, from 11:00 a.m.
The Toronto event at Queen’s Park will feature speeches, songs and stories from the Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups (ONIWG), Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL), Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Injured Workers Action for Justice (IWA4J), The Justice Singers, South Asian Women’s Rights Organization (SAWRO) & more.
There will be a pizza picnic provided shortly after 12.
Following the rally at Queen’s Park, everyone is invited to join Injured Workers Action For Justice and IAVGO Legal Clinic at 12:30 on a school bus that will travel down to the WSIB to deliver a letter and have a rally in support of Injured Migrant Workers – After a landmark Tribunal decision last year, the WSIB recently announced plans to help only 50 of the thousand of migrant workers that have been injured in Ontario and had their benefits cut. While this is an important first step, the Board must be told that all workers who are injured on the job – migrant workers included – deserve workers’ compensation.
