The Centre of Research Expertise for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders (CRE-MSD) is holding a webinar on Visual Ergonomics: Lighting Design and MSD Prevention. Poor indoor lighting can have a significant effect on health and performance. Presenter Dr Hillevi Hemphälä (Lund University) will address glare, non-visual flicker (or TLM), and other factors in the visual environment that can contribute to problems. A Visual Ergonomics Risk Assessment Method (VERAM) developed to identify risk factors in the visual working environment will be reviewed along with strategies that have improved worker health.
