Day of Mourning in Ontario

|

Join injured workers across Ontario to commemorate the National Day of Mourning, April 28 – first declared by the Canadian Labour Congress in 1986, officially recognized by the federal government in 1991 and by Ontario in 2016.

Check the Workers’ Health & Safety Centre website for a list of events that you can join across Ontario, and a factsheet that gives a more accurate picture of Ontario occupational injuries, illnesses and deaths than is provided by WSIB data.
