34th annual December rally

|

t is unacceptable that WSIB continues to reward big businesses with billions of dollars in rebates while this money should be going to compensating injured workers – many of which are struggling to make ends meet. We invite you to join our Christmas Rally on December 8th to oppose the rebates and demand that injured workers receive fair compensation.

Toronto: December 8th, 11am in front of the Ministry of Labour building at 400 University Ave.

Thunder Bay: December 8th, 11am at MPP Lise Vaugeois’ Office, 272 Park Street

The event will feature speeches from different organizations and labour unions in solidarity with injured workers.

After the rally in Toronto we will meet at the Workers’ Health & Safety Legal Clinic for hot chocolate and pizza.

Hosted by:
Injured Workers Legal Clinic • Toronto & York Region Labour Council • Disability Without Poverty • United Steelworkers (Toronto Area Council) • York South Weston Tenants Union • Injured Workers Action for Justice • Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups • South Asian Women and Immigrants’ Services • Industrial Accident Victims Group of Ontario
