Conversations with injured workers

October 29, 2014

Long-time injured worker activist Steve Mantis is adding host of a weekly Thunder Bay cable TV show to his long list of accomplishments in social engagement.  Community Conversations, a half-hour program explores “important issues through interviews with interesting local people”.  Workers’ compensation and problems currently faced by injured workers are, of course, among the topics discussed.

The programs are uploaded for viewing at any time onto the  Community Conversations YouTube Channel. Each show is taped in three parts so each video on YouTube is approx. 8 – 9 minutes long each for easy viewing. To see Steve’s 3-part interview with Eugene LeFrançois (Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups)and Janet Paterson (Thunder Bay & District Injured Workers’ Support Group) scroll down down the list to programs beginning with the numbers COM CON EP2+.

Greg Snider (TBD&IWSG President) will be Steve’s guest the first week of November. Check out also his Community Conversations Facebook site (and share it!)
