In many ways, 2018 was a year of ups and downs for social justice movements across Ontario. While the Ford government cuts have already started to dig into poor and marginalized communities, there is also broad momentum to push back and defend our rights. Injured workers are part of that struggle, and over the past 12 months, our movement has made significant strides to make our demands heard.

Whether it was through actions in the streets, interventions at the political level, or getting new injured worker groups off the ground, we have gotten stronger by virtually every measure. Here are some highlights from a full year of organizing and building power.
