Take action to protect legal aid clinics!
Injured Workers Community Legal Clinic (IWC) has not accepted the provincial funding cuts and is appealing Legal Aid Ontario’s decision by all means. However, the cuts are real. One of the ten staff has already been laid off, and two more have been given layoff notices. It’s still not enough to fund the cuts made mid-year.
This affects the work IWC can do on individual cases, law reform, and support for Injured Workers’ groups. Until the cuts are restored and legal aid is respected as a right, IWC needs your help.
