The 2017/2018 season of the Bancroft Institute for Studies on Workers’ Compensation and Work Injury gets underway Tuesday week on October 3rd. The first session is a full-day event to share the latest information from both health care and legal perspectives on the issue of pre-existing conditions and workers’ compensation – ahead of the upcoming WSIB policy review.
Keynote speakers Becky Casey (York University) and Peri Ballantyne (Trent University) will discuss their recently published joint study “Diagnosed Chronic Health Conditions Among Injured Workers with Permanent Impairments and the General Public.”
