Register now for free CIWA webinar on living with pain

November 14, 2017

The Canadian Injured Workers Alliance is offering a free online educational session next Monday November 20, 2017, from 12-1 p.m. The webinar “Creating A Way Forward, Approaches To Living Well And Working With Persistent Pain” is intended for helping/health professionals, workers’ advocates, employers, injured workers & people living with pain.

CIWA is a national network of injured workers groups that aims to support and strengthen the work of local, provincial, and territorial injured workers organizations. Its goal is to support injured workers and improve the Occupational Health and Safety of workers across Canada.

Since 2014, CIWA has been working with the Canadian Pain Coalition, researchers, health care providers and the injured worker community to develop resources to assist people living with pain and to highlight and connect chronic pain management with return to work and stay at work planning for injured workers as well as people living with chronic pain. This webinar is part of that project.
