Taras Natyshak (MPP-Essex) rose in the House yesterday to question the Minister of Labour Kevin Flynn on issues raised by injured workers in their demonstration Monday outside the Ministry buildings.
Referring also to safety rebates for dangerous employers, the NDP Critic for Labour asked why the WSIB is bringing in unfair, anti-worker policies without Legislative oversight. In his response the Minister, while agreeing injured workers were owed dignity and respect, stated the WSIB had been responsive to labour and injured worker input and was hopeful there would be further changes to experience rating….
