Minister: “Every member of this House should review this report”

Cindy Forster (MPP – Welland) rose in the House this afternoon to acknowledge the doctors present supporting the release today of  “Prescription Over-ruled”, the OFL/ONIWG joint report addressing how the WSIB systematically ignores medical opinions of the treating health provider.  The NDP Labour critic called on the Minister of Labour to launch an investigation into the WSIB’s interference  with injured workers’ claims. While not committing to an inquiry (“I think that would be pre-judging what is in the report”), Minister Flynn repeated it was a report he took very seriously and one he and his staff would review and discuss with its authors.
