The information pickets at the Ministry of Labour had a successful second day today, hosted by the Injured Workers Action for Justice (IWA4J) and the Ontario Network of Injured Workers’ Groups.
Injured workers and advocates denounced the proposed WSIB policies that will reduce or eliminate compensation based on age.

The IAVGO legal clinic performed a skit to illustrate how injured workers will be negatively impacted, with the Justice Choir leading picketers in a protest song.

A special guest was Fred Hahn, President of CUPE Ontario, who pledged his union support for injured workers and warned about the impact of Tim Hudak’s plans for the province.
