The Campaign keeps rolling!

November 14, 2017

It’ll take more than a little cold weather to keep #injuredworkers off the streets. Last Friday the Toronto Injured Workers Coalition delivered a big letter to #WSIB President Tom Teahen. We then brought hundreds of petition signatures to Premier Kathleen Wynne, because at the end of the day the government needs to step in and do right by injured workers. It’s time to #CoverOurCare and acknowledge that WorkersCompIsARight!  See more photos from Friday’s event at ONIWG’s Facebook. Keep checking hashtag #WorkersCompIsARight for updates on actions by injured worker groups and coalitions across the province.

Meanwhile in Markham … on Thursday members of the Chinese Injured Workers Group and advocates took the Workers Comp Is a Right message to Helena Jaczek, Minister of Community and Social Services, at her constituency office. WCIAR event at Markham office of Minister Jaczek
