WCIAR Halloween Action

|

The provincial government is putting money back into employers’ pockets claiming the WSIB has a surplus. This is not acceptable. For decades now, injured workers faced the short end of the stick with cuts to their benefits and wages. As a united movement, we will make sure #InjuredWorkersWontBeForgotten by reminding the provincial government and WSIB that the so called surplus came from cuts to our benefits. It’s time to restore injured workers’ benefits after 10 years of austerity cuts.

With Halloween around the corner, injured workers and allies are coming together on Friday, October 29, to demand decision makers- Members of Provincial Parliament- that we have been waiting for change. Injured workers deserve just treatment, not political trickery. We need decision makers to #TreatInjuredWorkersNotTrick

The action is simple: go to your nearest MPP’s office and post injured worker demands on their doors; take a photo and send it to us; post the photo with the hashtags #InjuredWorkersWontBeForgotten and #TreatInjuredWorkersNotTrick
