Unveiling of Italian Fallen Workers Memorial

On Day of Mourning, a memorial honouring  as many Italians as can be identified as killed in work-related incidents in Ontario since 1900 will be unveiled at the Columbus Centre.  Sor far researchers have verified 944 names of victims of workplace fatalities for people of Italian origin in Ontario, and over 1000 names in total.
