Injured Worker Picket @ WSIB & Premier’s Office -Injured workers in Ontario are in a state of crisis. It’s a crisis created by WSIB – the very system that was supposed to support and care for people who have been hurt or made ill on the job. But instead, there is a culture of denial and insensitivity at the WSIB that forces injured workers into poverty, ill-health, and mental stress. Join the coalition of Toronto injured workers groups action – deliver a message straight to the WSIB. And because we can’t simply trust the WSIB to hold itself accountable, stay with us as we head up to Kathleen Wynne’s office together, to call on her government to step in and do the right thing for injured workers in Ontario.
* We are arranging for a bus to take us all from the WSIB to Kathleen Wynne’s office
When: November 10th, 11am
Where: Simcoe Park Workers Monument (just west of WSIB office at 200 Front St.)
