Professor Katherine Lippel, Canada Research Chair on Occupational Health and Safety Law, University of Ottawa, will discuss her research on how system design shapes the doctor’s role in workers compensation. Specifically, she will share findings from a qualitative and comparative study of the impact of regulatory contexts on on the roles and practices of doctors and other players in Ontario and Quebec.
