Injured workers are invited to attend the outreach event organized by the Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups at St Catharines. Hosted by the Niagara Injured Worker Group event will feature University of Trent professor Peri Ballantyne, as a guest speaker, on poverty factors facing injured workers. Staff from community legal clinics will be on hand to offer case advice for people who need it, ONIWG will hold a peer support session and an introduction to its ongoing Workers’ Comp Is A Right campaign.
