A memorial celebration of life service will be held this Saturday for Don Comi [obituary], injured worker activist and friend. Prominent in the social justice and labour movements, among his many volunteer activities Don was president of the Welland/Niagara District Injured Workers Association, helped organize ONIWG and the Canadian Injured Workers Alliance, and served on the Board of Injured Workers Consultants community legal clinic.
The service will be held at Saturday June 11th from 1 – 4 p.m. at UNIFOR Local 199 Retirees Centre, 124 Bunting Road, St. Catharines.
