On the first Monday in September Labour Day celebrations will once again be held across the province to celebrate workers’ contributions and labour union solidarity. It is also an occasion to campaign for workers’ rights and better working conditions.

In Toronto: Injured Workers Community Legal Clinic, and other allied organizations will be marching alongside the labour movement to continue the fight to demand justice for injured workers. Join us at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Staples store at Armoury St. and University Ave. with injured worker Banners. Once the parade is done, we have arranged transportation back to the United Steelworkers hall. To aid with accessibility, there will be a few vehicles in the parade that folks can ride in to take a break from walking. However, space will be limited.
