As you have heard on the news (and experienced at the store), inflation is soaring and the cost of living is rising through the roof. So what is WSIB doing for the injured workers who are feeling the pinch? Giving them a very tiny cost of living increase that is well-below the higher costs found in their grocery bills. In two recent Toronto Star articles advocates spoke out on how injured workers are losing out as inflation hits, while the discriminatory age 65 cut-off for seniors’ wage loss benefits face an additional blow.
