Injured Workers Community Legal Clinic is holding its Annual General Meeting Monday Nov. 29 from 6-8 p.m.
Our keynote speakers this year are Jim Brophy and Margaret Keith, authors of a new book: “Code White: Sounding the Alarm on Violence Against Healthcare Workers.” They had already spent years interviewing health care workers about violence in the workplace when the pandemic hit and working conditions worsened.
Following an update on highlights of clinic activities from the past year and the presentation by our guest speakers, the business section for members only will be held.
The past year has been very challenging. We survived the cuts to legal clinic funding and then the pandemic and we continue to stand up for injured workers. We would like to thank you for your involvement and support over this past year.
