Do you know someone who was injured at work, or became unwell because of the workplace? The Northumberland Community Legal Centre is holding a meeting for injured workers from the region on Monday, Nov.2 to ask them about changes to the WSIB that they would like to see and supports they would benefit from. Orlando Buonastella (IWC), together with Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups (ONIWG) will talk to injured workers and their families about the Annual Christmas Demo. The Northumberland CLC hopes to form an an injured workers group in Northumberland County and invites injured workers, their families, people affected by their injuries, health care providers, labour representatives, etc. to join them in taking “united action.”
