Day of Mourning


Ceremonies of remembrance for workers injured or killed in the workplace will be held in communities in Ontario, in Canada and around the world on Tuesday, April 28 – as they have been since CUPE held the first Day of Mourning in 1984. Details are included here for the Toronto and Woodbridge events organized by Toronto & York Region Labour Council and ONIWG. See the Workers’ Health and Safety Centre listing for times and locations of other Day of Mourning ceremonies across the province.
