Submission to the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs regarding Schedule 21 of the Helping Ontario Families and Managing Responsibly Act which amends the WSIA by: adding a requirement for full funding of the workers’ compensation system, removing the requirement to raise employers assessments in the case of insufficient funds, and eliminating Minister of Labour authority to issue policy directives to the WSIB.
