Fink (Fink & Bornstein) announces public meetings (May 22, May 27) on a class action lawsuit against the Board by injured workers for reducing legitimate permanent impairment (Non-economic Loss) awards on the basis of pre-existing medical condition that had not previously affected the ability to do one’s job. (Note: This practice began around 2010 and is part of the proposed 2014 benefits policy changes.)
