Institute for Work &  Health Scientist Agnieszka Kosny reports on findings from her study on the use of independent medical assessments (IMAs) in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. She highlights challenges these provide to policy-makers and service-providers and ways the use of IMAs could be improved.
